Participants should expect rehearsals every afternoon during the week of the show, with the exception of the Bitties group.

Fees
A performance fee of $75 per student is required. This fee covers building use, light/sound technicians, programs, and related expenses.
A costume fee of $75 per costume is applicable. If a student participates in multiple classes, a costume will need to be purchased for each class. For instance, a student enrolled in Level 2 Jazz, Ballet, and Modern classes would require three costumes, resulting in a total costume fee of $225.
Dancers are responsible for providing appropriate shoes and adhering to hair and makeup guidelines on the performance day.
*Performance fees are due no later than April 7, 2025 and can be paid here. We also accept Venmo, cash, or check.
Attendance
Consistent attendance is imperative from this point until the performance. All rehearsals are mandatory. Please make every effort to attend classes punctually and in the required dress code. Absences disrupt choreography, formations, and impact all students.
Student measurements for costumes will be taken throughout the month. Please endeavor to attend all classes.
Tech Week Rehearsal Schedule
Tech:
Monday, May 5th – Thursday, May 8th– specific schedule TBA.
***Each class will be allotted a time slot between 4 – 9pm on one of these days.
Dress Rehearsal at Post Theatre:
Friday, May 9, 5:00 PM until completion.
Specific rehearsal times for the week of May 5th-11th will be announced as the performance date approaches. All students are required to attend the dress rehearsal. Efforts will be made to conclude the rehearsal for younger students expeditiously.
While every effort will be made to adhere to the rehearsal schedule, delays may occur. Your understanding is appreciated, as this may be a new experience for many students.
Parents are welcome to observe rehearsals, provided they remain respectful of the Post Theatre and the dancers. The rehearsal environment can be overwhelming and stimulating for younger students; therefore, parental presence may exacerbate this. Please exercise discretion. Siblings are permitted to observe quietly with parental supervision only.
Alternatively, students may be dropped off and picked up at the designated times.
Costume, Hair, & Makeup
Please label all items clearly. Costumes are retained by the student post-performance. Due to numerous costumes of similar style and size, all items, including tights, shoes, and hairpieces, must be labeled.
Students performing in multiple pieces with multiple costumes should arrive in the costume worn in the first performance and bring additional costumes in the provided garment bag. More details will follow.
Please send students to the theater for rehearsal with minimal personal belongings. Backstage space is limited, and lost items cannot be tracked. Items may be misplaced or lost in the theater environment.
Theatrical makeup is required for the dress rehearsal and performances. Assistance and guidance regarding theatrical makeup are available upon request. Quick tutorials and helpful resources can be provided.
**For Bitties, apply makeup at your discretion, considering the child’s tolerance and your comfort level. A bright lip and subtle eyebrow enhancement are generally sufficient to ensure visibility from the audience.
**For older classes, the stage makeup tutorial video below includes false eyelashes, which are not mandatory.
