Kate Lehr, a proud Pittsburgh native, discovered her love for dance at just three years old. What began as twirls in a tutu quickly evolved into a lifelong passion as she trained for eight years at a pre-professional ballet studio. Kate’s dedication to the art led her to La Roche University’s college preparatory dance program, where she earned college credit and honed her craft under the renowned Maria Caruso at Bodiography Contemporary Ballet. After three years as a Performing Arts Dance Major, she transferred to Slippery Rock University to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Dance, graduating in the fall of 2019.
Shortly after graduation, Kate made the leap to Savannah, Georgia, where her compassion and drive led her to the nursing field as a nursing assistant with Coastal Care Partners. After three meaningful years, she found her true calling in senior living as an activities director. Kate has brought her unique blend of creativity and care to Harmony Senior Living, Oaks Senior Living, and most recently, Atlas Senior Living, where she brightens the lives of residents every day.
Kate’s passion for the arts remains at the heart of her life. As a volunteer with Pittsburgh’s Center for Theatre Arts, she shared her love for ballet and theater, supporting the next generation of performers. She takes immense pride in combining her love of the arts with her dedication to caring for those who need it most, whether on the stage or in her daily work.
With a kind heart and a creative spirit, Kate strives to make a difference wherever she goes—bringing joy, beauty, and compassion to the lives of others.
